Every week, join author and creator of Talliston, John Tarrow on an elegant and classic evening tour and tea. Starting with a hot supper in the Victorian watchtower, you will then go on a guided exploration of the house and gardens, wandering the labyrinth of rooms and gardens.

Our evening suppers are booked in advance or can be gifted to friends and family as a unique experience for anyone interested in history, architecture or just someone who would love to escape for a few hours and step into our timeless world.

YOUR SUPPER IS SERVED
Dine from vintage bone china at our chapel refectory table upon a fresh spread of hot paninis, individual tarts, slices of cake and a choice of refreshing beverages from around the globe. Our delicious menu is crafted to perfection by Meadow Hill Coffee Shop & Deli and delivered fresh for every event.

THE ENCHANTED EVENING MENU
The menu comprises a Sweet & Savoury Selection of: Hot paninis, toasted sandwiches, individual quiche tarts and a choice of two sets of the eight indulgent cake choices for all guests, plus a fine Tea & Coffee Selection comprising: Whittards 1886 Blend tea, Café du Monde New Orleans Coffee & Chicory, fresh ground Colombian cafetière, decaffeinated tea or coffee – or maybe some Fruit & Herbal Infusions such as Lemon & Ginger, Peppermint, Camomile or Red Berries.
We are also happy to accommodate dietary and allergy requirements, plus gluten-free and plant-based alternatives to all menu choices.

ENCHANTED EVENING TEA & TOUR AT TALLISTON
The perfect way to spend a candlelit evening at Talliston House & Gardens
TICKETS & TOUR DATES
Enchanted Evenings are private & exclusive events for two to six guests, and run Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 19:00 plus some Sundays and special dates in the year around holidays and Christmas. Please note that if you book for less than six people, you may be joined by other guests on your tour and tea. If you do wish for a private event, please book The Talliston Experience instead. If you wish to gift this experience to friends or family without a specific date, please purchase one of our vouchers from our shop.
Your experience includes a full guided tour of the house and gardens by a member of the team, room by room, mapping out the labyrinth of rooms. For returning guests, you can always request to skip the tour and spend the time exploring each of the locations before gathering for your afternoon tea in the final hour.
Integrated into your tour is a light supper in the living room consisting of a sweet and savoury selection of sandwiches, cakes and refreshments of tea, coffee and herbal infusions. The included menu items are subject to change without prior notice.
Please allow three hours for your visit.

Please make sure you list the full name and specific dietary requirements for each guest.
​After confirmation, final information, directions and guest information will be sent at least one week before the event.
GUEST INFORMATION
These tours are open to 11+ only – and anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
Due to the delicate nature of the wooden floors, no high heel or stiletto shoes are to be worn.
No food, drink, or large bags or luggage may be brought into the house for this event.
Unfortunately there is no access for disabled visitors.
